How to Join

Each member will receive a full page ad with two photos and a 400-500 word description of their business with full contact details and website link.  The member listings also have the option of a small thumbnail photo beside their contact information for better appearance.  Business features will be listed under the contact information and 40 word description for members only.

Members may also submit articles about area attractions that aren't covered on site (or significantly improve one that is) and receive credit under the article for their submission.  It's a great way to get your business and expertise noticed.  If the article covers an aspect of your business, I will also provide a link to your ad from the article.  Articles may be streamlined to conform to the site's overall style.  An example of a submitted article is the Cliff Lake Conservation Reserve article by Bay-Lee-Mac.

The price for a one year membership is $40/year.  If you are interested in a membership, I will require :

  • two photos - minimum size 400 pixels wide for best display ($10 scan charge if not digital)
  • small thumbnail photo or instructions for which of your two photos to use.
  • 400-500 word ad for your business
  • 40-50 word brief description if you wish to replace the one provided for your listing
  • If you link to from your business website, you may also choose up to two articles to list under that deal with your main attractions.  Please contact me about how to do this and I will provide code to add to your website.  Even if you do not wish to link under articles or become a member, we always appreciate a link to the site.
