The common redpoll is a lively little bird. They usually travel in groups and it seems that if one decides to stop to feed then they all agree to do the same. They are very social and always on the go. They show very little fear of people and if you are patient and still they will eat out of your hand: they love to feed on niger and sunflower seeds.
