This raccoon seems to have something in sight that looks mighty good. In the wild he eats fish, crayfish, mice, frogs, birds, eggs, honey, fruit, nuts... But where there are people he will eat anything we leave behind, even pop! The raccoon looks pretty cute but you don't want threaten him. He can be fierce! He's able to defend himself against animals that are much bigger than he is with his sharp teeth, sharp claws, agility and strength. Raccoons are only now becoming common in Northern Ontario. Ten years ago you wouldn't have seen this guy on Lake Temagami but now they are a normal sight.
