Areas of Concern
  • Act as liaison between Council and General Government and Finance Committee
  • To develop and evaluate general government and administration policies
  • Recommend final budget allotments and committee grants
  • Review procedural by-law and council by-law
  • To review, negotiate and recommend all leases and tenders/contracts pertaining to municipal buildings, business and land
  • To review and negotiate municipal employee contracts
  • Review outside committee procedures and recommend minimum and maximum members per committee
  • Review municipal rents
  • Review municipal remuneration
  • Communications/Public Relations
  • Examine municipal by-laws and recommend new or improved by-laws from time to time
  • Maintain good public relations and promote the municipality in all areas
  • Recommend prices for sale of municipal lands
